Dreamhack announce the 12 seeded players at Dreamhack Summer
Dreamhack Summer, so far the largest offline Hearthstone tournament with a staggering $25,000 prize pool, has announced the 12 seeded players who will be joining the 4 qualified players in the final top 16 of the tournament. Ranging from the seasoned veterans Gnimsh and Ekop, to the newer, upcoming players such as quintuple Zotac Cup winner and multiple time IHEARTHU.com King Of The Hill ThijsNL as well as semi-finalist of Dreamhack Bucharest and the 2p EU vs CN tournament Rdu, it's interesting to see that the Dreamhack admins haven't only gone for the popular streamers and instead have taken prior achievements seriously. Some big names are missing though: by far the biggest of these is Reynad, possibly the largest Hearthstone streamer and captain/owner of team Tempo Storm, as well as Planetkey Dynamics' Lothar and team Curse's Kitkatz also not making the seed list. With $25,000 on the line, the World’s best players and a massive 256 player BYOC tournament connected, Hearthstone at DreamHack Summer is shaping up to be the biggest Hearthstone tournament held yet!
As previously announced the competition format is made up of the top 12 players being seeded into a 16 player group stage, with a massive BYOC qualifier advancing 4 more players to qualify into this group stage, and from here the top 8 advancing players compete in single elimination playoffs. Today we are extremely pumped and excited to announced the seeded player list of competitors from around the world who will be competing in Hearthstone at DreamHack Summer 2014.

These 12 players will be joined by the 4 advancing players from the 256 player BYOC competition. The BYOC competition has already seen huge interest and the 256 slots are already all taken, featuring many players who are also among the most accomplished Hearthstone players and could easily be included in the above list and will have an even bigger challenge in front of them.
