Dragon Age: Inquisition’s huge Inquisitor’s Edition costs $170
As promised, a physical collector's edition of Dragon Age: Inquisition has been revealed, and it's quite the sizable (and pricey) one.
The Inquisitor's Edition is now available for pre-order through GameStop for a whopping $170. It includes the Deluxe Edition of the game (consisting of bonus in-game goodies like extra mounts and a throne made out of a dragon skull) as well as a variety of physical pieces. These include a cloth, scale map of Thedas (measuring about 22" x 32"); a 72-card tarot card set; four map markers; a 40-page Inquisitor's Journal; a steelbook case; and more.
All of this is contained within a "highly detailed exclusive" case created by TriForce measuring in at about 8.5" x 13.5" x 14.5". According to the description, "The case is individually wrapped in faux reptile skin, has the mark of the Inquisitor stamped on top in gold foil, with an interior fitted with imprinted red silk."
Also included in the Inquisitor's Edition is a six-piece lock tool set. While the listing doesn't make it clear what the purpose of this is, a close look at the image above shows some fine print noting that it's used to open a hidden compartment in the case. What's contained inside wasn't specific. (How mysterious!)
