MLG Anaheim: New Bracket Videos and OnGamers Interviews
In addition to everything streamed on Day 3, there are also some never-before-seen sets, including Masaya 'aMSa' Chikamoto vs. Johnny 'S2J' Kim and Jeffrey 'Axe' Williamson vs. Joey 'Lucky' Aldama.
Some highlights:
aMSa (Yoshi) vs. S2J (Falcon) in Losers Bracket (for 17th place)—exciting 5 game set
Axe (Pikachu) vs. Lucky (Fox) in Losers Bracket (for 9th place)
William 'Leffen' Hjelte (Fox) vs. Aziz 'Hax' Al-Yami (Fox) in Losers Bracket (for 7th place)—both players are in contention for the title of "best non-Mang0 Fox," so this was an important set even outside the context of the tournament.
Weston 'Westballz' Dennis (Falco) with an amazing 3-0 on Joseph 'Mang0' Marquez (Fox/Falco). This was actually in Championship Pools, but still!
Jason 'Mew2King' Zimmerman (Sheik/Falcon) vs. Kevin 'PPMD' Nanney (Falco/Marth) in Losers Semifinals (for 4th place)—Yes, Mew2King played Captain Falcon, and it went better than anyone would have expected.
Grand Finals: absolute top-level Fox play by Mang0 (Fox) vs. Adam 'Armada' Lindgren's legendary Peach.
