World Elite signs OldB from Prime Optimus
Today, World Elite made two announcements. First, top laner CaoMei revealed he will retire when XCS comes to its conclusion. WE also revealed that they have signed yet another Korean. Yang "OldB" Seungbin, previous jungler of Prime Optimus, will join World Elite.
Given the recent announcement that Ruo has returned to the team and the fact that he has been playing more top lane in solo queue than jungle, it is likely that Ruo will replace CaoMei in the top lane while OldB jungles. Despite speculation that the importing of Korean players has failed for World Elite, it seems their coach, Hiro, is committed to keep trying.
OldB hails from Prime Optimus, as does the team's mid laner, Noh "Ninja" Geonwoo. Perhaps Hiro hopes that, given their pervious experience playing together, Ninja and OldB will have stronger synergy. Ninja and OldB are not the only members of Prime Optimus in the WE organization, however, as Dongha "Khan" Kim, World Elite Academy's top laner is also a former member of the team.
With WeiXiao's speculated retirement, a fifth vacancy still remains on the team. OnGamers will bring you the details as they become available.
