Team Curse to re-brand for the 2015 Season
Team Curse will be changing their name for the 2015 League of Legends Season as Curse Inc, will no longer be their title sponsor. The team will continue to function under the title Competitve Esports but no longer represent the "Curse" brand.
Hubert Thieblot, Curse Inc's CEO, stated on Reddit that Curse Inc wanted to focus on Curse Voice and that current LCS rules prohibited a title sponsor of a team from sponsoring another organization. "Due to an LCS regulation that only allows you (as a title team sponsor) to work with a single team in this capacity, we were in turn prohibited in working with any other teams on promoting Curse Voice," stated Theiblot.
Curse Inc and "Team Curse" have been existing as independent entities since April of this year, where Curse Inc spun off its esports division into a separate company, Competitve Esports, led by Steve 'LiQuiD112' Arhancet.
Arhancent stated that he enjoyed working with Curse, Inc over the years and is excited for the upcoming announcement on his Twitter.
I've enjoyed my time working so closely with Curse over the years. I'm very excited about the news to come, would announce now if I could.

This announcement marks the 4th team in the LCS that will change their brand for the upcoming season. North American LCS team Evil Geniuses and European LCS team Alliance will be required to change branding after since it was announced that the current arrangement between GoodGame Agency and the team owners would no longer be permitted. Additionally, newly qualified Curse Academy will be sold to comply with Riot Games' one team policy.
