ASUS ROG Dota 2 Cup at Insomnia52
The UK's biggest gaming festival will once again make its return this weekend with Insomnia52 set to host one of the largest Dota 2 tournaments that the UK has seen so far.
With esports seeing major growth in the UK over the past few years, Dota 2 has steadily grown in both popularity and viewership. Thanks to title sponsor ASUS ROG, we now have a whopping £6,500 (~$11,000) prize pool as well as a dedicated viewing area for the on-site attendees.
Teams from across Europe will compete at the UK's biggest gaming festival, bringing you three full days of heated action culminating in a Main Stage Final. All the teams will be pulling out all the stops to be crowned the greatest Dota 2 team in Britain.
The event will run this weekend between the 22nd and 25th of August. Held at the RICOH Arena in Coventry, the Insomnia Gaming Festival has been a driving force in the success of British esports. Allowing homegrown teams to compete against each other as well as players from across Europe.
The tournament will be casted by JoeShow, PyrionFlax and durka on the Multiplayer Dota Twitch.tv channel or in game on the ASUS ROG i52 Dota TV Ticket.
Also don’t forget to bet as the semi-finals and grand finals will be featured on Dota 2 Lounge.
