Cloud 9’s Bone7 officially receives visa to play at TI4
Cloud 9's Romanian offlaner Pittner 'bOne7' Armand has officially had his visa approved to play with his team for over 5 million dollars at The International 2014, management tells onGamers. This will be Armand's first event in the United States with Cloud 9, after being forced to sit out on MLG Columbus, the SXSW Monster Energy Invitational and Beyond The Summit, due to visa issues.
"It is definitely a huge relief since not being able to go to the USA would make me less of a valuable player to any team, because I would miss the biggest tournament", Armand told onGamers. "So I'm really happy that I've been granted it. The consulary officer told me that I'm actually the only case in his experience of getting a visa for a thing like this."
"The guy was pretty cool I gotta say though. I really didn't need to give him every single information, he seemed to get me after I explained the TI event and how it goes and what its purpose is."
Cloud 9 management is thrilled to finally have Armand in the US.
"I’m thrilled that Bone has been approved to travel to the United States for the International," said Cloud 9 Owner Jack Etienne. "Huge thank you to Valve for providing the support we needed to make this happen. With our full roster locked in for TI, we're going to be pushing ourselves hard to ensure our best performance at the event."
