CPH Wolves Add LeftoverZ As CS:GO Squad
After roster shuffles meant 5 of Denmark's premier players became free agents they united to form the LeftoverZ team, but until now they operated without having a supporting organization. In turn Copenhagen Games lost what is arguably one of the top 5 teams in the world to English organization Dignitas.
The two have now come together to once again return CPH Wolves to the forefront CS:GO scene, although the definitive moment of return will be in a few months time. Until then the players have agreed to enjoy the summer, before starting to practice again for the autumn run of tournaments.
Among the members that came together in LeftoverZ are Nicolaj "Nico" Jensen, who didn't manage to land a spot in Dignitas due to time and motivational restrictions and Jacob "pimp" Winneche who had initially set his sights on a few months' break to learn the ins and outs of awping in CS:GO. Whether that role is still with him even with Nico in the team is unknown, but seems unlikely.
Jacob "pimp" Winneche said the following about joining CPH Wolves:
Today, 'LeftoverZ' takes the first step towards becoming one of the best CS:GO teams in the world. We're joining up with one of the best, most prestigious, and known organization in the world. This basically means that we from now on don't have to focus on anything else than playing CS.
We got a big professional team behind us, who will provide us with all necessary tools to become one of the best CS:GO teams in the world. Besides that Copenhagen Wolves is a Danish based organization with an acknowledged position in the hearts of the Danish fans. That fact makes it exciting for both us the players and the Danish fans out there as we will represent Denmark when we travel and play.
