GO4Balkan, the all-star CS:GO charity event organized by Faruk ‘Pita’ Pitas, has raised about $30,000
Whilst the charity drive was the main attraction of the evening, the all-star matches played throughout the evening, in association with SteelSeries, ended up going to Team Go4Balkan, which consisted of Christopher ‘GeT_RiGhT’ Alesund, Filip ‘NEO’ Kubski, Mikail ‘eksem’ Bill, Abdisamad 'SpawN' Mohamed and Simon ‘twist’ Eliasson. The team won the tournament showdown without losing a single map.
The charity itself proved to be a major success, as it pulled in more than $30,000 throughout the 7-hour broadcast of the all-star showdown. Faruk, who himself is from Bosnia & Herzegovina, was allegedly elated by the amount of money the charity has managed to bring in in such a short amount of time.
The donation will remain open throughout the next couple of days, and can be found here.
