As a region, North America in most of its esports endevours has always had an issue with bringing out a new generation to their representatives, and that can easily be seen in the TI4 NA Qualifiers. Team Liquid, a name buiilt off of several established old school competitors like Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho and Sam 'BuLba' Sosale are in the running for once again representing their nation at TI4. The same can be said about the North American Rejects, that houses an entire guard of competitive Dota/HoN veterans like Steven 'Korok' Ashworth, JingYun 'Sneyking' Wu and Ioannis 'Fogged' Loucas.

But then there's the Sneaky Nyx Assassins; formerly known as the Wild Witch Doctors this team which features Michael 'ixmike' Ghannam and Brian 'FLUFFNSTUFF' Lee is the closest of the three remainings teams in the qualifier that has focused on almost solely new blood in the shape of Chris 'USH' Usher, Veasna 'SNA' Sokhom and Bryant 'Whitebeard' Leahwald. Three young players who after a short period of time together are looking at potentially attending the ultimate esports event as they go up against Team Liquid in the final battle between them and Seattle.

Will the old, tried and true competitors make the cut and represent North America, or will the new generation rise up to the challenge?
