One more South East Asian Dota 2 team disbands, as Execration bids farewell
The post-TI4 SEA qualifier shuffle continues. With Rex Regum Qeon announcing yesterday that they would be parting from their roster due to their poor performance in the qualifier, Execration from the Philippines has today experienced the same fate. The team finished dead last in the massive qualifier after several months of decent performances in their home country, as well as reaching the playoff stage of Beyond the Summit’s The Inaugural tournament.
Execration’s former support player and captain Bong ‘BG01’ Gutierrez Silva told Dota Talk earlier today that the team were “praying for a miracle” as they went into the TI4 qualifiers, and that there were arguments that had been left unsettled for too long that plagued them in their games.
Execration as an organisation will continue with a new roster.
