Power Rangers loses Roman ‘Scandal’ Sadotenkov from main roster

Scandal, who was a renowned HoN player and who played for several years under Team Empire, has today left his most recent team Power Rangers after close to two months with the team. Issues within the squad were reportedly the reasons that finally made the Russian midlaner decide to move on from the Belarussian organisation.

In the official press release provided by the organisation, Scandal was also skeptical to bootcamping in preparation for the European TI4 qualifiers due to not seeing any improvements in the team after having bootcamped previously to the qualifiers on a separate occasion. This is also one of the reported reasons as to why Empire decided to end their long-standing relationship with the player, claiming that his work ethic had not been up to par with their expectations.

From here on, we can only speculate about who will be playing the midrole for Power Rangers, but with the recent mass of free agents in the CIS region due to the demise of RoX.Kis, it wouldn't be a surprise if one of its former members finds their way to PR.

An official statement from Power Rangers was also released following the news of Scandal's departure:

After the [International 4] qualifiers we had a team meeting with our sponsor, we discussed our main problems and ways to solve them, and developed a specific plan for the next tournament season. But, as it turned out, Roman was not ready for such work conditions - this is certainly within his right. But most importantly, there wasn't trust in some members of the team, trust regarding their possible professional growth in the upcoming season, new setting, with new ideas and tasks.

We calmly gathered again. Roman, thought about the situation for some time and made the decision to leave our collective. I won't say that I was surprised, however until the last moment I tried to find common threads, which could link the players. But - alas. Now it's time to move on. We already got in touch with some players, and in principle have a clear work plan for the coming season.
