Rex Regum Qeon restructures team
Initial rumours about RRQ’s disbandment broke out earlier today when the organisation’s Twitter account released an ambigous Tweet that made it seem like the team’s future was uncertain.
Following this, RRQ have posted on their various social media outlets that they are looking to recruit five new players in an attempt to rebuild the team.
Dear fans & friends, we want to announce several things regarding recent rumors about RRQ for the past few days.
Rex Regum Qeon is a brand under PT. Qeon Interactive that focuses on competitive Dota 2. More information about Qeon can be found at http://www.qeon.co.id/
We believe that RRQ is Qeon's way to establish & develop e-sports scene in Indonesia, and therefore we are not going to disband. We are opening recruitment for talented & promising Dota 2 player who wants to be a part of RRQ's legacy. Rex Regum Qeon competed in the recent SEA qualifiers for TI4, where they finished in the bottom three of the bracket. This result was what, according to former RRQ member Farand 'KoaLa' Kowara what made the team's lead sponsor Qeon to demand the removal of the old squad.
