Sigma.int disqualified from ASUS ROG DreamLeague due to consecutive no-shows

Sigma.int have been struggling and two of their core players leaving in the middle of the season of course caused a lot of problems. In the ASUS ROG DreamLeague we have a very strict rule set to maintain a professional league and one is that you can't forfeit matches without getting punished. We have a had a great dialogue with Sébastien '7ckngMad' Derbs over the weeks and tried to find a good solution together, but as the team couldn't put a new roster together both parties agreed that they should be disqualified from the season, in the rules they will also be banned from Season 2. Should be said that this doesn't affect the players that played in Sigma.intAs the team/organization Sigma is our counter part and they are disqualified, the team will not receive any prize money or streaming revenues. These will be distributed between the other eleven teams within the ASUS ROG DreamLeague.

Lord also commented on the monetary situation surrounding the disqualification, as all teams in attendance will be receiving a minimum of $6000.

With two members of Sigma.int, one of which being their star midlaner Adrian 'FATA-' Tinks, having been seen together with Team Dog in official tournament games, it seemed as if the line-up that bagged the French/German/Danish team a 3rd place finish at MLG Columbus last year had split up after months of underperforming and regular uses of stand-ins.

These roster woes have as a result left Sigma.int with too few players to field on matches in the ongoing ASUS ROG DreamLeague, and according to the league's rules, the punishment for three consecutive no-shows is immediate disqualification as well as also being banned from appearing in the upcoming season of the tournament.

The remaining team Sigma.int had left to play, Fnatic, will receive two default victories and will therefore only affect their score in the overall standings.
