Young Glory announces their lineup for LSPL Spring
After showing promise in 2014 LPL Summer by 2-0'ing front-runners Edward Gaming, World Elite, and OMG, Young Glory faced a lot of criticism for not practicing. They placed seventh in 2014 LPL Summer and failed to requalify for LPL in the 2015 LPL Promotion.
Some speculation has circulated regarding who will start for Young Glory and who will start for the LPL sister team, Invictus Gaming. This off-season, iG signed Song "Fly" Youngjun, Baek "Save" Youngjin, and more recently Lee "KaKAO" Byungkwon and Song "Rookie" Eujin. In a 17173 interview, KaKAO confirmed to fans that Invictus Gaming would be running a rotating roster with Save switching out for Zeng "Pokemon" Tao in the top lane, and Rookie occasionally swapping places with Liu "Zzitai" Zhihao to comply with the two Koreans per team rule. As a result, it seemed clear Fly would go by himself to Young Glory, potentially alongside Kim "KIM" Junhyung, who played top lane for the team in the LPL Promotion.
Today, YG confirmed suspicions and announced their roster for 2015 LSPL Spring.
Top: Kim "KIM" Junhyung
Jungle: Chen "illuSion" Xinlin
Mid: Song "Fly" Youngjun
ADC: Fan "QiuS" Xiaonan
Support: Huang "YanSir" Li
Top Sub: Weng "Number1" Shijie
Mid Sub: Hou "DianGun" Guoyu
The roster replaces AD carry Chen "Zhenlong" Junliang with QiuS and moves Number1 and DianGun to substitute positions. IlluSion, the starting jungler for Invictus Gaming since 2011, was also moved to Young Glory.
