Askott Entertainment launches esports-driven iGaming platform

Esports and iGaming development company Askott Entertainment has launched its Chameleon Gaming Platform, which is said to enable companies to launch their own esports-first gambling brand or to expand their current offering.

The platform initially provides four product verticals, as follows:

  • Fixed odds betting on esports & sports
  • Pool betting on esports
  • Fantasy esports
  • Proprietary casino games.

The release states that the years of in-house development and system design as a platform provider and operator has resulted in a robust API allowing “seamless integration” into any tech environment.

Jeremy Hutchings, CTO of Askott Entertainment commented in a statement: “We have spent years at Askott building the platform we would want to use ourselves – as we do with ESP.bet – now we are ready to offer it to others. We have taken the requirements and desires of industry and harnessed it into our platform, the flexibility we can supply can only be matched by the speed to market that we can offer our partners”.

The platform is currently licensed in Dutch Caribbean island Curacao, and Askott Entertainment is in the process of acquiring a Critical Gaming Supply license in Malta too. The company has plans for further licenses as well as product features in the coming years.

The charge will be led by newly appointed CCO Benjamin Bradtke, who previously held roles as the co-founder of esportsbetting.com and Head of Marketing at DOJO Madness. He also serves as a non-executive board member of ESIC, advising on gambling-related affairs. He emphasised that the company’s goal is to “supply a product to the industry that focuses on the esports-first and millennial audience: gamification, personalisation and live engagement.”

Esports Insider says: Another supplier enters the business-to-business space in esports gambling – and with what looks a solid proposition. With staff who definitely know a thing or two about esports and a clear focus on esports-first, it’ll be interesting to see how the Chameleon proposition develops in coming months & years as they continue expansion.
