ENCE announces partnership with betting agency Veikkaus
Finnish organisation ENCE has partnered with Finnish government-owned betting agency Veikkaus.
The agency was formed in 2017 as a merger of three betting and gambling agencies: Veikkaus, Fintoto, and Slot Machine Association. Exact details for the partnership have not been disclosed at the time of writing, though ENCE has called Veikkaus a “main partner.”
Mika Kuusisto, CEO of ENCE discussed the deal: “ENCE is a team of Finnish esports athletes, which has reached the world top level with purely Finnish blue-and-white efforts. We find it fantastic that we get to promote esports with Veikkaus, known for their strong Finnish values. That’s why we are especially excited about this cooperation contract.”
ENCE is also partnered with ASUS ROG, Telia, Jimm’s PC-Store, Wolt, Jimms, Samsung, Red Bull, and Logitech G. The organisation competes in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, StarCraft II, and Hearthstone.
Suvituuli Tuukkanen, VP of Brand and Marketing at Veikkaus added: “Many of our indicators have clearly shown how esports have turned into an event that attracts and activates Finns. ENCE has had a major role in that development. Thanks to the cooperation contract, we can serve the customers who are interested in esports even better, offering them both excitement and experiences.”
Esports Insider says: ENCE has had an amazing time recently. From success to CS:GO, to dominating European PUBG, to making a real name for itself in StarCraft II, we’re not surprised to see it considered the biggest Finnish esports brand. With that in mind, this deal makes sense for Veikkaus.
