H4X’s apparel now stocked in 49 Macy’s stores
Gaming apparel brand H4X has announced that its clothing is now stocked in 49 Macy’s stores across the states.
The brand’s collection is also now available for purchase through the department chain’s online shop.
The brand designs, manufactures, and sells a mix of apparel aimed specifically for gaming competitively and more streetwear-influenced clothing. Items available include t-shirts, jerseys, hoodies, joggers, hats, sleeves, and a posture corrector.
Jon Gurman, Chairman of H4X commented in a statement: “I have been in the fashion industry for longer than I can remember developing skate brands, surf brands, MMA brands…you name it. However, this time is different. The new notion that gaming has inherited top-level professionalism and worldwide support could not prove to be more true.”
H4X has collaborated with North American organisation compLexity Gaming and professional Call of Duty player Ian “Crimsix” Porter on their very own apparel collections. It also signed on to become the official apparel supplier of event organisers ESL and DreamHack in February last year.
Last July, Esports Insider spoke to Daniel Herz, Chief Revenue Officer of compLexity Gaming about the origin of the partnership with the apparel brand and why the deal is important for the organisation. You can read it here.
Esports Insider says: It’s good to see mainstream stores such as Macy’s fully embracing gaming and esports in any capacity, this is somewhat of a breakthrough considering the apparel is tailor-made for gamers. We’re glad to see that it’ll have presence in a number of stores as well as online.
