100 Thieves adds Cash App as content house sponsor

North American esports organisation 100 Thieves has announced Cash App as the sponsor of its content house in Los Angeles.

While not officially announced, 100 Thieves’ Call of Duty jerseys had Cash App’s logo on the sleeve at CWL London earlier this month, so a jersey sponsorship may also be part of the deal.

Cash App will act as the presenting sponsor of 100 Thieves’ content house. Dubbed the ‘Cash App Content House LA’, it will be kitted out with new filming and recording sets for content production.

As well as officially announcing that Jack “CouRage” Dunlop has joined the organisation as a content creator, 100 Thieves has revealed two new shows that will be coming starting from June: ‘The CouRage & Nadeshot Show’ and Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag‘s own podcast, ‘Self-Made.’ The latter will be presented by Rocket Mortgage, another sponsor of the organisation.

Nadeshot, CEO of 100 Thieves discussed the announcements in a release: “We’re thrilled to have CouRage join 100 Thieves and move into Cash App Content House LA with us. The CouRage & Nadeshot Show will be produced and filmed in-house and we’re super grateful to have Cash App partner with us on this project.”

100 Thieves is also sponsored by Rocket Mortgage, Red Bull, StockX, and Totino’s. Most recently, it expanded its deal with Totino’s beyond Call of Duty to sponsor its Fortnite team and training facility for the Fortnite World Cup.

Esports Insider says: With this announcement, it now appears as if Nadeshot giving away $150,000 on Cash App was the beginning of the partnership between 100 Thieves and the app, though that wasn’t specified at the time. It makes us question whether Nadeshot’s kind act was actually just a promotion for Cash App which encouraged his fans to download the app – if so, then that wasn’t declared and he could get in a spot of bother.
