StarLadder launches analytical CS:GO show with LOOT.BET
Tournament organiser StarLadder has partnered with esports bookmaker LOOT.BET to launch an analytical show based on prominent tournaments for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Named the LOOT.BET Show, the broadcast sees Russian analysts and casters – such as Oleksandr “petr1k” Petryk, Alexey “xaoc” Kucherov, and Antonina “Tonya” Predko – predict upcoming results, look back at recent matches, and place bets on LOOT.BET’s platform.
Viacheslav Shcherbakov, Senior Sales and Operations Manager for StarLadder commented: “Last autumn, we aired the ‘LOOT.BET Show’ pilot season dedicated to the FACEIT Major: London 2018, and our audience liked it very much. That acclaim prompted us to extend the project, make it even more ambitious, long-lasting, and professional. The very first issues of the show indicate its success, and actually, this doesn’t surprise us as ‘LOOT.BET Show’ is a great alloy from best talents, hottest CS:GO matches, and betting which always increases the emotions of people.”
Released on almost a daily basis around prominent CS:GO tournaments, the LOOT.BET Show is broadcast live on Twitch and then subsequently uploaded to YouTube. It’s set to run until January 2020 with around 30 events being covered.
Paul Brel, Head of PR at Livestream Ltd – the operator of LOOT.BET – added: “Betting is all about analysis since if you wish to profit from it, you must understand and know your discipline well, be aware of events, and be able to make sharp predictions. And we’ve tried to make the ‘LOOT.BET Show’ format as universal as possible so it could suit not only those who already bet or plan to bet on CS:GO but those who are just interested in the game and want to improve their analytical skills as well.”
The show is currently running alongside the IEM Katowice Major, which is currently in the New Legends Stage. The event will run until March 3rd with a collective prize pool of $1,000,000 (£768,465) being dished out to the top 16 teams.
Earlier this week, StarLadder confirmed it would be hosting the next CS:GO Major in Berlin, Germany. The fifteenth Major event in history, the action will take place over September 5-8th at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
Esports Insider says: StarLadder continues to display its dedication to CS:GO and a show such as this has solid potential. The game sees a number of incredible tournaments each and every year and there’s a lot of analysis and discussion that can take place surrounding them, so the LOOT.BET Show seems like a great idea!
