The Overwatch League is heading on the road for 2020
Activision Blizzard Esports Leagues plans to take Overwatch League on the road in 2020, which will see the competition kick off its third season.
Nate Nanzer tweeted about the development, explaining that the company’s “original vision” was being “brought to life” with teams playing both home and away matches.

Nissan enters esports with OpTic Gaming and FaZe Clan partnerships
Nissan has entered the esports industry through partnerships with two North American organisations, OpTic Gaming and FaZe Clan.
As part of the deal, Nissan will act as a jersey sponsor for both teams and provide select cars to feature in branded content.

Aquilini GameCo aiming to acquire Luminosity Gaming and take it public
Aquilini GameCo Inc. has raised $25,000,200 in hopes of acquiring Toronto-based Luminosity Gaming through a reverse takeover of J55 Capital Corp.
The reverse takeover was proposed with a Letter of Intent dated February 22nd with Canaccord Geniuty Corp. acting as the sole agent for raising the capital. This deal could result in Luminosity Gaming become one of the first publicly traded esports organisations.

EPICENTER Moscow is the final Dota Major of the season
EPICENTER XL has been announced as the final Major event of the Dota 2 DPC circuit for 2018-2019.
Taking place at the CSKA Arena, Moscow on June 28-30th, this event will be the fourth that EPICENTER has hosted in Dota 2. The company’s events in 2016 and 2017 were both won by Team Liquid, whereas 2018’s instalment was conquered by PSG.LGD.
